The program this year edition of OKNO Festival is "geographically" oriented - presenting artists from countries such as Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Netherlands and Norway. It was divided in two parts - the first one, carried out from 14th to 22nd October, will be dedicated to the legendary Odin Teatret (one of the most important European laboratory theatres, active since 1964), and to its founder Eugenio Barba (the world-famous director and researcher of culture, the founder of the International School of Theatre Anthropology ISTA), while the other one ( from 4th to 6th November) will include representatives of young, experimental performative art, based on the uncompromising minimalism and reduction of theatrical means. The program of the festival, which can be considered a double perspective on trends, methods, and ways of "describing" reality, may inspire discussion on changes taking place in contemporary experimental theatre.
