J.U.D.I.T.H.
Marja Christians, Isabel Schwenk

Theatre performance

J.U.D.I.T.H. is discourse-theatre with poetic-abstract choreographic elements. A performance that questions structural social power relations based on the drama by Friedrich Hebbel. The performers occupy discriminatory and privileged body and gender hierarchies and re-interpret them consistently. Central means of doing so is the staging of non-sexualized nudity. Normalized body images are deconstructed, deformed and turned upside down. The concrete bodies of the performers are acting subjects and visual objects at the same time. Together with the audience, they design utopian spaces and create new places for critical forms of desire. In the ever-changing world of images between gender, human and animal figurations, they create new ways of perceiving the (female) body. The performers move along the consciously queer and ambiguous line between subjectivity and objectivity. They interact with eighty dildos and a huge veil. Common beliefs start to unravel when multiple dildosaur species, a bleeding headless and a fried chicken dance through the orgasm landscape ... and in the end, there is the opera singing vulva. An evening of heavy sweating and physical comedy!

Panakeia
Theatre NOWEGO

Theatre performance

"You open your eyes and what do you see? Television. Colorful ads, nice sounds and content make you feel safe. Don't look out the window, you'll see a world on the verge of extinction. The world of the end of history and the great narrative. Bendable into question any value systems. The world of the distribution."

The impulse to the creation of the spectacle were current political conflicts and the image of modern man, in whose strong influenced mass culture. The show was made in the form of mixed tragedy and comedy and makes us laugh through the tears. Shows the grotesque hyperbolic figure. Inspired by the language of Gombrowicz, Białoszewski's sensitivity and absurd of Masłowska.

Fate of the Galaxies
Collective ONE:THIRD

Theatre performance

"Periodically galaxies cross too close one another
objects of different philosophy begin to interact
attract themselves
slow down
Unravel one of their arms
they do not collide but fly by each other
brief interaction sets in motion tremendous changes
they are drawing back together
their shapes rearrange
flashes accompany creation of new stars
but most of the time nothing happens."

Artists combine different, ephemeral compositions and choreographies of hypnotising live music, to give a full view of how do we find out in this great world.

JETZT/TERAZ
Collective Little: interference

Theatre performance

Beckett in his drama created absurd situations of extreme waiting in a world where basically the movement disappeared completely. A world in which only includes the duration of the exhaustive eternity.

In a world where freedom, development or the sudden success of the unit is a natural, waiting means a lack of interest or even inertia. But we cannot avoid it. Waiting sneaks into our personal lives, in our everyday life. We are waiting.

But in fact what we are waiting? On what awaits each of us? Where begins the stagnation of the unit, and where our being lost in political, social impotence of ignorance or willful rejection. At which point the apathy called waiting it begins to pinch us? And whether it is possible in this whole moment of lethargic turn, a kind of catharsis?

In awaiting we are alone.

We are forced to deal with this condition alone. The best that can meet us is this crush caused by the other person. In waiting it's easy to get lost, melting in dreams or daydreams. Others become then a carte blanche for which we freely create our fantasies provoked by our inactivity, lulling of the mind.

Ones in the Zero
Vera Piechulla

Theatre performance

A little journey into the core of things. Come prepared for everything, expect nothing.

In this performance Vera Piechulla invites the audience to join her on a quest for nothing. But it is hard to get that nothing, as soon as you think about or name it, it turns into something! Maybe we'll have to deal with something first to understand the nothing. So we set off for a little journey into the core of things...

A piece not about nothing but about the search for it. A search between inquisitive mind and childish intuition, insecurity and cheekiness, holding on and letting go.
