MAREK DYJAK & JERZY MAŁEK

Born on 18th of April in 1975. In 1992 received his qualification as a plumber. There were only few things missing for a perfect and happy life - a workers life, with a workers wife and a workers flat on the block. A simple life, without the nuisances of caring about things as soul or heart. But somehow, he wanted more. It is quite difficult to tell, who he really is. A rogue and barmusician - as he himself says. A barde, the polish Tom Waits - as his fans like to entitle him. "The most sincere voice on the polish music market" as judges the music critic and singing teacher Elzbieta Zapendowska. Dyjak is Dyjak - state his friends, a guy who lived to the extreme, drank to the extreme, untill he came to the end of the road. He himself felt it. Last year, on Christmas Eve he attached a rope to a branch of a tree. The ambulance stated his death, but a few days later he awoke in the hospital, remembering nothing of this incident. There have been moments in his career, at which he could have chosen the mainstream, securing his popularity. But he felt that this would be not his road to go, he would have to relinquish his reins. Some people consider this as a pose, Dyjak "outlawing" himself. But Dyjak did not care, and just continued on his own path.

The Akustyczeń 2010 Festiwal in Szczecin is composed out of several unplugged concerts as well as different musical performances, which are specially aranged for the festival and are characterized by their openness towards style, form and expression. The festival is organised by Podparty Produkcja.
