KANA THEATER BEYOND SZCZECIN
„TOLERATED STAY” project by Weronika Fibich
City theatrical action, Łódź.
'Tolerated stay' is an uncertain tomorrow, bridging the past and the present of a refugee life. It is a lense focusing individuality for which 'the Other' is us. It is a caleidoscope displaying variants of perception of a silenced reality. Dilemma of responsibility for the stories that we hear and artistically use becomes a common issue - ignorance and oblivion can be no longer used as an excuse. 'Tolerated stay' is a state of illusory protection and safety. Nobody is 'at theirs'.

Particular appreciation for the Chechen family on a 'tolerated stay' in Poland - for talks, meetings and cooking together.
