STORIES FROM THE JOURNEY

While touring with "Moscow Petushki" by Wieniedikt Jerofiejew, a theatre piece directed by Zygmunt Duczyński, the Kana ensemble kept a diary. On the 15th of March painter Ryszard Grzyb together with former actors of Kana Theatre will go back to the past times in a performative action - reading out the fragments of the diary will be accompanied by live drawing and painting.

This text is an original record of the trip from Szczecin to Edinborough. I can't remember what year it was. It is great to have Jacek back here, for many of the entries are written by him. One of the travellers is no longer with us, but he would certainly be glad that we hold this evening. Let reading out the diary and painting illustrations be a tribute to this absent traveller.
