THE SEQUENCE OF PLACES

Marek Ostrowski (born 1977, lives in Szczecin) is an audio-visual artist, an architect, assistant in the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin. Author and co-author of such projects as: "Pocztówki z miejsc" ['Postcards from sites'], "Monopolia", "Lupino Pan". Member and co-founder of a new wave band called Mizeria.

The exhibition presents the project titled "Sekwencja miejsc" ['The sequence of places'] that is: surrealism woven into the everyday city life. The city as we see it differs from the one we remember. The same place, the same space or even the same moment appear to each of us in a different way. The context is changeable, we memorize the situations and images differently.

The project "Sekwencja miejsc" is an attempt to portray the city as it is seen by the author. Technique: collage
