QUATROPORTE QUARTET
Quatroporte group was created by four young graduates of Poznan's Musical Academy (who presently further develop their skills at academies of Wrocław, Lodz, Poznan and Vienna).
The group performs 17th and 18th century music in accordance with ancient practices: they play exact copies of instruments used 3 centuries ago, treating the notation freely - only as a starting point for improvisation (just as it was practiced in times of baroque).
The ensemble - Łukasz Nazarczuk (skrzypce barokowe), Olga Musiał-Kurzawska (flet traverso), Łukasz Kurzawski (wiolonczela) i Dagmara Kapczyńska (klawesyn) - will present works of F. Couperin, A. Corelli, G. F. Haendel.
