Tales of a singer Su Hart about the Baka tribe from Cameroon.

Su (herself a Briton) has been studying the Rhythm/Rhythms of the Baka Pygmy tribe from Cameroon since 1992. Along with musicians from the African East Coast and the Celtic part of Europe she established the band Baka Beyond and the foundation protecting culture of the Rainforest Pygmy culture (one of the coldest cultures basing its spirit on music). For the Baka, common singing casts a spell on animals, establishes a community, heals illnesses and quarrels.  Su was initiated into tribal singing and she was asked by the women (the elders agreed) to take the songs beyond the forest to share them with people around the world.
