MOSCOW - PETUSHKI - film presentation.
Meeting with Marcin Szczyciński, literary scholar.
Admission - free.
We would like to invite anybody who wants to take a trip from Moscow to Petushki (or, from Petushki to Moscow.) to watch with us the TV recording of the one-man show "Moscow-Petushki" performed by Jacek Zawadzki, and directed by Zygmunt Duczyński. The piece, created twenty years ago was for both the actor and the director a very personal interpretation of the Venedict Erofeev's poem. Form many spectators who had a chance to watch it, it became an important and personal theatrical encounter.
After the projection there will be a meeting with Marcin Szczyciński, a young scholar of Russian literature, the author of work: Here the trains ride eternally . - a dialogue of Zygmunt Duczyński and the Kana Theatre with Venedict Erofeev. The meeting will take place on March 15th - the forth anniversary of Zygmunt Duczyński's death.
