FERDYDURKE
...It´s really incredible, that the same Gombrowicz, which is in our polish theatres actually not playable anymore, suddendly in the hands of Janusz Oprynski and Witold Mazurkiewicz gains a totally new language. This really is an unusually courageous performance...
Elżbieta Morawiec (in "Magazyn Bardzo Kulturalny", Program III PR)
...I really am thrilled, no, even more, I`m enchanted by them...
Gustaw Holoubek during the " Opolska Konfrontacja - Klasyka Polska"
...This is an excellent, very smart and technically perfect performance. It is one of the best performances presented by a polish theatre in America. If i remember well only Kantor´s "Dead Class" made on me a similar impression...
Jan Kott in Santa Monica
...An outstanding performance; for the first time the complex stucture of Gombrowiczs novel was presented in a very legible way. (...)On an area of about 6-8 m2 a great grotesque theatre of social oppression was performed. But still this performance was fantastically playfull, almost rude. Gombrowicz´s characters are here really shown in the fashion of Bachtin and Rabelais - "from the belt down.."
Grzegorz Janikowski, Życie
