FOR A CUP OF TEA WITH BECKETT
"For a cup of tea with." - is a series of regularly held events, organised bz the Public Library Szczecin and the philosophical-literary magazine [fo:pa]. The first meeting was in 2008 and was dedicated to the work and life of Zbigniew Herbert, the next "Teas" were taken with Rafal Wojaczka, Ryszard Kapuscinski and Stanislaw Lem.
The idea of this meetings is to concentrate on a certain autor from both an integral and complex point of view. That is why to these meetings we try to invite people who either know the autor personally or who are acknowledged experts on the autor`s work. This time it is Beckett, we are having tea with. Our guest will be Becketts friend, literary specialist and autor of the book: "Godot and his Master". On our meeting he will present to us a recording of a play directed by Beckett himself from his own private collection.
